Freelance Sales Copywriter

What we need: A freelance copywriter with experience and interest in writing sales driven copy for our customers.

Office based/ remote: Fully home-based

Hours: Very flexible. Work in the day time or the evenings,  around another role or family commitments. Work volumes are variable and can be increased as required.

About the role: We are a UK technology company with a team operating across multiple European countries to deliver a web-based sales presentation solution.

We build each of our estate agency clients’ a sales presentation template (each is a dedicated web page/template). Then, each time they pitch for new business, the homeowner’s details are entered, and a personalised presentation is automatically created for that end client, with dynamically populated property data being pulled.

We create sales presentations from scratch and start with a discovery call aimed at identifying the client’s USPs. Typically, there are 8 – 12 key messages to be communicated and for these we need 30 – 70 words created that promote each message clearly and effectively.

This is very much sales-based copy we require that’s succinct and to the point. You’ll be a pro at making long copy short and writing to create an action. We will be very impressed by someone who’s worked on any short form, site content or for emails and brochures.

You should be able to tap into the reader’s desire for what’s on offer, hitting pain points, calling out qualities that beat the competition, and appealing to the target demographic.

For each project, we will provide all the scoping/discovery call details supported by the clients’ current brochures and other similar written information. We usually look for the work to turned around in 36 – 48 hours.

This role would suit anyone who has a writing flair (accepting that the focus is on sales copy.)

Salary Guide: Per hour/ per project
